About Us

   Phillip was born and raised in Wilkes County, and graduated from West Wilkes High School. As a teenager, Phillip started working for his father's HVAC business, not knowing it would be the start of a journey that would lead him to owning and operating Minton Inc. 

   As a young man, Phillip met and married the love of his life, Brooke. He is now the father of 2 amazing children, Pryce and Berkley. 

   Phillip has long been a believer that, when it comes to working on people's homes, there is an easy way and there is the right way. After opening up his services to the public in 2014, he still felt like he could be doing more for the HVACR industry. Phillip's passion is to ensure that young individuals interested in this field are knowledgeable in every aspect of it. That vision lead him to instructing courses at Wilkes Community College in 2025. In addition to giving a proper education, Phillip was also able to share his belief that honest values and peak customer service is at the core of good workmanship.
